Aláya means highness, greatness — and from the very beginning,
that meaning was not a description but a direction.
Founded in 2021 by sisters Malaika and Sarah,
Aláya began as a shared belief — that clothing could stand above the moment it was made in.
Two visions, one language: intricate silhouettes, hand-worked embroidery, threads of
zari and resham, the shimmer of sitara and dabka, fabrics
chosen with as much care as the cuts they become — each element chosen to honour tradition
not by repeating it, but by elevating it.
But greatness was never meant to feel distant. For us, it starts with something simple —
listening. We are here to listen to your wants, your vision, the little
details only you would think to ask for. You are our first priority, always. We believe in
attention — real attention, not the kind that gets lost between departments and away from
personal touch. That's why we deal with you ourselves, at every step, because that closeness
is where the truest dedication lives.
